We can't deny our beach-town roots and love when brides want to take their nuptials to the shoreline. There really is no better way to tie the knot than with the ocean waves lightly lapping at your toes....and that is just what we did in this photo shoot in our friendly neighboring beach town, New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Affectionately known as NSB to locals, we've watched this area turn into a trendy boutique style beach town over the past few years. As tourist flock to the beach for sun and sand, couples are taking advantage of the quaint bed & breakfast inns, award-winning locally owned restaurants, unique taverns and perfectly placed wedding venues to create one-of-a-kind coastal nuptials.
The Salty Mermaid, located on the ocean just south of Flagler Avenue, is one hotel that has had a major transformation. The decor features a fresh pallet of teals, blues and whites in a modern style. The big attraction, however, is the grassy lawn that connects directly to the beach for exceptional ocean views. With the talents of photographer Rachel Estrada and the hospitality of The Salty Mermaid, we were able to catch some of the beauty of our gown, Marjorie, from our new spring collection in this unforgettable setting.
Marjorie is a 2017 Spring favorite featuring flirty strap details creating a crisscross effect that accents the open plunging back in this tulle A-line. It's beaded lace bodice, V-neck, and flowing train complete the look for your perfect beach wedding!
